No More Time
Christians are looking for the Lord Jesus to return some day. They are expecting it to happen because Jesus said it would. Here is what Jesus Himself said:
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14:1-3
When Jesus returns, He will be bringing some very important things with Him.
1. He will be bringing the souls of all those who died in faith.
“ For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. “
1 Thessalonians 4:14
What a delight it is to know that we will once again see those who have gone before us.
2. He will be bringing rewards for those who have served Him. “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.” Revelation 22:12
Those who labor for The Lord do not go unnoticed. God sees, remembers, and will one day reward those who served Him and His Son Jesus Christ.
It is wonderful to know that Jesus is coming again and bringing these things with Him, but you need to know that there are two things that He will not be bringing with Him when He returns.
Jesus Will NOT Be Bringing You a Second Opportunity To Be Saved.
Matthew 25:1-13 tells about ten people who will be alive when Jesus returns. Five are ready when Jesus comes and go with Him to a grand wedding. The other five are not ready. They had plenty of time to be prepared but – perhaps like yourself – kept putting it off. These five are called “foolish” for not being prepared and to them “ the door was shut. ” Matthew 25:10
After telling us about these five foolish people Jesus warns everyone: Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming. Matthew 25:13
Jesus Will NOT Be Bringing You More Time To Think About It.
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then THE END will come. Matthew 24:14
“THE END” means that there will be no more time. The days that we are living in are “The Last Days.” None of us knows how much longer they will continue, but this we do know: Sometime in the future there is a day which God has labeled “The Last Day.” When that day arrives Jesus will return and there will be no more time.
This Gospel tract could be the last thing you ever read. Stop the person who gave you this tract and ask him or her to tell you about Jesus Christ. Ask them to tell you what Jesus did to save sinners from their sins.
